Happy Halloween

Although Mikan opted out of collecting any H1N1 infested candy, he still dressed up and partied at Nina and Poppi's house, then spent the night at Grandma and Grandma's, falling asleep watching Notre Dame beat Washington State.

The last two mornings Mikan has woken up at 3:45 and refused to lay back down. I'm not sure how he's had the energy to do anything this weekend. We don't know exactly what the problem is. Last time he wouldn't sleep he had an ear infection. But he doesn't get fevers with his ear infections, so it's hard to tell exactly what is going on. So, we'll just wait it out I suppose. In the meantime, we could all use a little more shut eye.

Love the little skeleton!! Very cute!

Glad you had a good Halloween despite being trapped by the sickies. I hope Mikan gets back to his normal sleep routine soon. Not sleeping is no fun!

He's the cutest skeleton ever. We didn't take Ava out either.

Mikan looks great! I just found your blog but was excited when I did. My son Liam was also born early and now has a trach & vent and Gtube. He was born 1 lb. 11 oz. at 27 weeks. First hospitalization was 153 days then another for 108. We just got home today from a short 1 week visit back to the PICU and were a little bit bummed about spending our first halloween in the hospital, but we made the best of it.

I'm looking forward to reading about your and Mikan's journey as ours is a very exclusive club. Good luck to the whole family!
