At home

Mikan is doing okay. He is in 45% oxygen at a rate of 12, pressure control of 41 cm of H2O and a pressure support of 28 cm H2O. Today was pretty consistent with his status the last few days. His weight continues to increase. We hope this translates to more lung tissue.

Dear Jenna, We celebrate Mother's Day with many blessings. You have embraced it with love, acceptance, determination, and incredible strength. We wish all children could be loved and cherished like Mikan on this Mother's Day. Life's challenges are not supposed to paralyze you, they're supposed to help discover who you are. (Bernice Johnson Reagon) Please give Mikan a kiss for us, and may God bless you all. We Love you sweetheart! Happy Mother's Day! P.S. Mikan says, "I Love you Mommy"

Dear Mrs. Gensic
Hey, it's Amanda Welch. You know, from school. Anyway, I just wanted to say congratulations and I hope everything is going well.
I also wanted to say Happy Mother's Day on this, your first Mother's Day.
I miss you at school. My life is meaningless without our lunchtime chats. Haha!
Say hi to Mikan for me. I know when he gets older he'll be glad that you're his mom.
So, I guess I'll see you next year. I'll check in later. Hope everything goes great. Laters :)
